Lone Star Shootout events are operated by Corvo Security LLC ("we," "us"), 200 University Blvd STE 225-389, Round Rock, TX 78665. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit lsshootout.com or sign up for our events.
Information we collect
When you submit a form on this site (waitlist, early access, sponsor inquiry, or contact), we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company, and your event interests. When you register for an event, we may also collect details needed to run it, such as dietary restrictions, shirt size, and shooting experience level.
We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic (pages visited, referral source, general location, device type). Google Analytics uses cookies; it does not give us your name or contact details. Embedded YouTube videos and form widgets may set their own cookies, governed by Google's and our form provider's policies.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and manage event waitlists, registrations, and sponsorships
- To send event updates and, where you have consented, occasional marketing messages
- To operate events safely (for example, range grouping by experience level)
- To understand and improve how the site performs
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the SMS consent box on a form, you agree to receive text notifications, alerts, and news from BlackOrchid on behalf of Corvo Security LLC. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Text HELP to 512-598-9530 for assistance, or reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. SMS consent is never a condition of attending an event, and we do not share SMS consent or phone numbers obtained for SMS with third parties for their marketing.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and events: our CRM and forms platform (LeadConnector, operating our BlackOrchid-branded system), our website host (Netlify), analytics (Google), and event partners strictly as needed to operate an event you registered for (for example, venue safety staff). Each processes your data on our behalf.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email using the link in any message, or reply STOP to end texts
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing info@lsshootout.com
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings to limit analytics
Retention and security
We keep contact records for as long as needed to run our events and communicate with our community, then delete or anonymize them. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our site and events are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
